"Why have my wife and I made a planned gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County?  Because we have seen the direct impact that the Clubs have on the lives of amazing people in our community.  I have personally mentored two BGC Mercer youth and have seen countless others progress on to college, the military and amazing community roles.  The Club changes the world for the better, one life at a time.  And how much is a life worth?  To me, it's priceless!

My parents raised me to believe that education is the great equalizer and the key to future opportunity.  With education, anyone can achieve greatness and change the world.  At the Boys & Girls Clubs, we help under-served children understand that connection, to dream of the possibilities, and reach for the stars!  So, when my wife and I updated our legacy plans, we decided to leave a significant portion to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County –  a six-figure sum and growing.  We considered giving to national causes but decided that our legacy is best made locally – with the kids that the Boys and Girls Clubs serve every day. 

How do you want to be remembered?  For us, it's about community and changing lives one at a time.  Ensuring that we can serve the youth of our community for years to come.  If we can have a small part in making that happen through the Boys & Girls Clubs, we know we will have made an impact!"
