Youth of the Year Mentoring Program

The Youth of the Year program helps high school students improve their public speaking and writing skills.  Student are paired with a volunteer mentor which works with them on completing three essays and one (2) minute speech.  The program concludes with a Youth of the Year event, in which participation is options.  Students who complete the program are eligible for various Club scholarships toward college.  Typically students commit one day per week to meet/communicate with their mentor about their essays from late October through early February.  Registration must be received in the fall to be matched with a mentor.  Contact Jermaine Jackson for more information or to register.   609-695-6060 ext. 224
