The Club employs both full time and part time professional staff in a wide variety of career fields. Café Manager -- Part-time

The Café manager oversees all Boys & Girls Clubs Café operations, including the cleanliness of the café, selling food and drinks, menu planning, maintaining inventory, and supervising café work-based learning students.

Qualifications: Must enjoy working with youth. Available between the hours of 2:30-6:30p  Monday - Friday. Ability to  work in a kitchen/café environment.  Highschool Diploma, or GED equivalent. Required experience in kitchen and food management. ServSafe certified, willing to train the right person. Experience in non-profit management, hospitality and culinary preferred.

Lifeguard
Lifeguard maintains safe conditons in our pool area, create a safe and posetive atmoshpere and promote safety while enforcing Club policies. 

Qualifications: Must enjoy working with youth. Available between hoursof 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday (flexible) Minimum 18 years of age. Must be certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen.  Currently Lifeguard Certified with the American Red Cross or equivalent.  Able to see and observe all sections of assigned zone area of responsibility.

Teacher – Part-time
Teachers (part-time) work in our After-School Programs.  The individual is responsible for facilitating an afterschool environment where students learn and enjoy themselves.  Individuals are needed to teach numerous disciplines such as art, computers, STEM, music, sports, cooking, chess, Character building, dance, cheerleading, theatre/drama and other academic support for students.   

 

Teacher – Part-time/Seasonal - Summer Camp
Teachers (part-time) work in our Summer Camps. The individual is responsible for facilitating a Summer Camp environment where campers learn and enjoy themselves.  Individuals are needed to teach numerous disciplines such as: art, computers, STEM, music, sports, cooking, chess, Character building, dance, cheerleading, theatre/drama and other academic support for students.

 

Site Coordinators - Part-time
Site Coordinator (part-time) to work in our After-School Programs.  The Site Coordinator is responsible for the everyday function of his/her program site.  They need to develop an environment where students learn and enjoy themselves. He/she will help develop and implement the program's curriculum, which fosters the student's physical, mental and social development. He/she is responsible for all administrative, leadership, and creative tasks associated with their program.

 

CDL Driver - Part-time
CDL drivers must have Passenger & School bus endorsement, must have a license that is in good standing and pass a physical exam and drug screening.
