College Access Program

A college education opens up rewarding opportunities. It can open the door to economic success, valuable life experiences, and connections. Our College Access Program (CAP) assists local High School students explore their post-secondary education options. CAP epowers youth, many of whom are first-generation college students to attend college, and fulfill their potential.  Cap students work towards building great futures.

The College Access Program assists High School students to:

     -  Explore the types of colleges that fit their needs and preferences

     -  Learn about the College Admission Process

     -  Complete college essays and develop references

     -  Apply for financial aid and scholarships

Our teen staff works with participants to develop their unique college pathway plans. The program provides a guide for college readiness and results in higher education access.

Some activities included in College Access Program are:

  • college and business tours
  • BGC College and Career Fair
  • workshops
  • classroom instruction

The College Access Program takes place at our 1040 Spruce Street location in Lawrenceville, NJ. Many students who participate in the program are later eligible to apply for educational awards from the CLub.
