Committees & Affinity Groups

Get Involved

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County has several affinity groups and committees that meet throughout the year (generally once a month or every other month) to work together to provide resources and input to Club staff in many different ways.  Joining one of these committees or groups is a great way to meet others who care about the Club and have a similiar interest. It is a commitment to making an impact at the Club for those that may not have time to volunteer on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.  Share you input, plan upcoming Club events, provide knowledge on a subject matter you are familiar with.  Meetings are often virtual and usually run about one hour.  If you have questions about any of our committees or groups or have an idea about forming a new one please contact Ashley Nwankwo, Director of Volunteer Services & Community Engagement, anwankwo@bgcmercer.org
