BGC Foundation

BGC Foundation

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County Foundation was formed in 2015 to establish, grow and manage the Club’s endowment.  Having a vibrant endowment is vital to ensure the viability and impact the Club has on current and future generations of Mercer County youth.

The Foundation is a separate 501C3 nonprofit agency, with its own Board of Directors and reporting structure.  Each year the Foundation Board approves a significant contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs as a percentage of the endowment’s principle.  The Club uses this gift to invest in capital projects, scholarships for teens, capacity building projects, and supporting day to day operations. In 2024 this gift will be $292,000.

The Mission of the Foundation: To provide significant financial support to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Merce County through growth and stewardship of our endowment to improve the lives of current and future Mercer County youth.
