I first became affiliated with the Boys & Girls Club in September of 2013 when my company, Munich Re, was working to extend our social reach and impact. Some of us sat down and identified worthy organizations in the central NJ area, and I presented the Boys & Girls Club after seeing a Denzel Washington vignette on TV. The rest is history. I became a member of the Board, and my wife and I are active supporters of many of the programs. 

Our affinity to the Club and its work is due in large part to my upbringing and my parents social work in my homeland of Barbados as well as my wife’s profession as a career grade-school teacher.  We will continue to be active supporters long after we retire because the need will always be there. 

We have selected to designate 5% from an IRA fund to be given to the Club’s endowment in our will.  Please consider this type of legacy gift in your own planning.
