Gifts of Stocks and Life Insurance

STOCK GIFTS

Stock gifts are the most tax advantage way to maximize your gift to a charity.  Typically Stocks are appreciated assets in which you owe federal and state taxes on when you cash out.  Instead donating them directly to charity maximizes your gift.

Benefits of gifts of stocks and bonds:

  • Avoid paying capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated stock
  • Receive a charitable income tax deduction
  • Further our mission today
