Every year--with your help--the Boys & Girls Club raises more than $2.5 million to provide life-changing programs to our members. Your gift really does make a difference!
- 80 years of serving Trenton’s youth.
- 1,000 kids participate in programs everyday
- 90% of Trenton Club members receive financial aid
- 40% of Ewing and Lawrence Club members receive financial assistance
- 100 Trenton kids are waiting on our after school waiting list for financial aid
- 2.5 million dollars awarded to children who cannot afford our programs
- 2,600 youth participated in our programs last year
- 100% of our High School seniors graduated last year
- 85% of our High School seniors get accepted into college
We're building a Community Garden
The Boys & Girls Club Community Garden is to provide an venue for our Club members to develop an appreciation and knowledge about our ecosystem, have space for outdoor active play, and a space for students to grow vegetables. There are few spaces in Trenton which currently provide such opportunities for area youth.
The outdoor classroom will have a profound impact when it comes to giving children the experience of learning outside, surrounded by plants and trees. The members of the club will be involved in every step of the process from planning on what to grow, harvesting the vegetables and learning how to cook what they have grown.
